Licence activation and validation help

Activating Your GoshLinks Licence

Activating your licence authorises the current website and unlocks the features included with your plan.

Deactivating a Licence on a Site

Deactivating a licence removes this site's authorisation from the licence, but keeps the key saved in GoshLinks.

Licence Is Active But This Site Is Not Authorised

A licence can be valid but still not authorised for the current website.

Managing Licence Site Limits

GoshLinks licences can limit how many sites may be active at the same time.

Reactivating a Saved Licence Key

If a licence key is still saved but is not active on the current site, GoshLinks shows a Reactivate Licence button.

Replacing a Licence Key

You can replace the saved GoshLinks licence key with a different key from the Licence tab.

What Happens When a Pro Licence Becomes Free?

If a site moves from Pro to Free, GoshLinks keeps the core plugin working but hides Pro-only functionality.

Which Features Require Pro?

GoshLinks Free includes the core short-link workflow. Pro unlocks advanced tools for larger sites, teams, migrations, and reporting.

Why a Licence Key May Not Activate

If a licence key does not activate, GoshLinks shows the message returned by the licence service.
