Privacy policy for GoshLinks

This Privacy Policy explains how GoshLinks collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our website, customer accounts, plugin licensing services, downloads, updates, payments, and support.

1. Information you provide

We collect information you choose to provide when you create an account, purchase a plan, download a product, contact support, submit a public contact form, or otherwise interact with GoshLinks.

This may include your name, email address, account login details, support messages, support attachments, website details, licence selections, and any other information you include in forms or messages sent to us.

2. Account, licence, and plugin information

To provide licensing, downloads, updates, and support, we may store licence keys, plan names, activation status, linked site URLs or domains, plugin version information, update checks, download records, and related operational activity.

We may also collect technical details such as IP address, browser or device information, timestamps, request logs, and security signals where needed to operate the service, troubleshoot issues, prevent abuse, and protect customer accounts.

3. Payments and billing

Payments are processed by Stripe. GoshLinks does not store full payment card numbers. We may store billing-related records such as Stripe customer IDs, subscription IDs, plan and price information, billing status, invoice events, payment status, cancellation status, and refund records.

Stripe processes payment information according to its own privacy and security practices. When you make a purchase, your payment data is provided to Stripe so the transaction can be completed.

4. How we use information

We use information to provide and maintain the website, customer accounts, licences, plugin downloads, plugin updates, billing, account emails, password reset emails, support replies, and other service-related communications.

We also use information to respond to questions, investigate issues, improve the product, manage subscriptions, detect spam or abuse, protect accounts, enforce our terms, and comply with legal or operational requirements.

5. Support tickets and attachments

If you contact support, we may store your message, contact details, ticket history, replies, and any files you provide. Support attachments may include images or documents that help us understand and resolve your request.

We use support records to help with current and future support, maintain a history of the issue, and protect the service from misuse. Closed tickets and attachments may be deleted according to our operational retention schedules.

6. Cookies and security checks

We may use cookies, session storage, or similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember account state, protect forms, and maintain website security.

We may use anti-spam and security tools, such as Cloudflare Turnstile or similar services, to help confirm that form submissions are legitimate and to reduce automated abuse.

You can read our full Cookie Policy.

7. Email communications

We may send service-related emails such as account messages, password reset emails, licence emails, payment or subscription notices, support replies, ticket closure notices, and important product or security updates.

If we send promotional emails, you may opt out of those messages. You may still receive transactional or account-related messages where they are necessary for the service.

8. Service providers

We may share information with trusted service providers that help us operate GoshLinks. These may include hosting providers, database providers, payment processors, email delivery services, file storage providers, security tools, analytics tools, and customer support infrastructure.

We only share information with those providers where needed for them to perform services for us, process payments, deliver emails, host data, secure the website, or support normal business operations.

We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or government request, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect GoshLinks, our customers, the public, or the security and integrity of the service.

If GoshLinks is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of business assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

10. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain accounts and licences, process billing, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our terms, prevent abuse, and support normal business operations.

Some records, such as billing, subscription, security, and audit records, may need to be kept longer than general support records. When information is no longer needed, we may delete, anonymize, or archive it according to our operational processes.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

No website, database, email system, or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your account password confidential and for notifying us if you believe your account has been compromised.

12. International processing

GoshLinks and our service providers may process and store information in countries other than your own. Those countries may have data protection laws that differ from the laws where you live.

By using GoshLinks, you understand that information may be transferred to and processed in locations where we or our service providers operate.

13. Your choices and rights

You may be able to access, update, correct, export, or delete certain account information by using your account area or by contacting us.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection to certain processing of your personal information.

We may need to verify your identity before responding to privacy-related requests. Some information may be retained where required for billing, security, legal, or legitimate business reasons.

14. Children

GoshLinks is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

The website or support materials may link to third-party websites, products, or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or security of third-party services.

16. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify you through the website, by email, or by another reasonable method.

The updated policy will apply from the date it is posted unless a later effective date is stated.

17. Contact
