Reactivating a Saved Licence Key

Reactivate a saved licence key after deactivation or site authorization changes.

Reactivating a Saved Licence Key

If a licence key is still saved but is not active on the current site, GoshLinks shows a Reactivate Licence button.

When To Use Reactivate

Use Reactivate when:

  • The key is still saved in the Licence tab.
  • The key is valid, but this site is not currently authorised.
  • You previously deactivated the licence on this site and want to enable it again.
  • The licence status needs to be synced after an account-side change.

How To Reactivate

  1. Go to GoshLinks > Settings > Licence.
  2. Confirm the saved key is still shown in the Licence key field.
  3. Click Reactivate Licence.

What Happens

GoshLinks sends the saved key and current site details to the licence service. If the key is valid and the site can be authorised, Pro features become available again.

Saved Key Behavior

Deactivating a licence does not forget the key. This is intentional, so you can return to the Licence tab and reactivate without finding the key again.

If Reactivation Fails

  • Check whether the licence site limit has been reached.
  • Confirm the key is still active in your GoshLinks account.
  • Try Refresh Licence Status.
  • Enter a new key if the saved key is no longer valid.
