Managing Licence Site Limits

Understand how site limits work and what to do when a licence has reached its activation limit.

Managing Licence Site Limits

GoshLinks licences can limit how many sites may be active at the same time.

Where To See Site Usage

Go to GoshLinks > Settings > Licence.

The Licence tab shows Site usage, such as:

2 / 5

For unlimited licences, it may show:

2 / Unlimited

What Counts as a Site?

Each authorised WordPress site instance counts toward the licence usage.

GoshLinks uses a site instance ID and the site URL when activating a licence.

When Site Limits Matter

If your licence site limit has been reached, a new site may not activate until you free up a site slot or upgrade the licence.

Freeing a Site Slot

On a site that no longer needs the licence:

  1. Go to GoshLinks > Settings > Licence.
  2. Click Deactivate Licence.
  3. Confirm the action.

Moving a Licence

Deactivate the licence on the old site, then activate or reactivate it on the new site.

Tip

If you cannot access the old site, manage the licence from your GoshLinks account or contact support.
