Deactivating a Licence on a Site
Deactivating a licence removes this site's authorisation from the licence, but keeps the key saved in GoshLinks.
When To Deactivate
- You are moving the licence to another website.
- You no longer want Pro features active on this site.
- You are preparing to remove the site from your licence usage.
- You are troubleshooting licence authorisation.
How To Deactivate
- Go to GoshLinks > Settings > Licence.
- Click Deactivate Licence.
- Confirm the action when prompted.
What Happens to the Saved Key?
The licence key remains saved in the Licence key field. This lets you reactivate it later without re-entering the key.
What Happens to Pro Features?
Pro features stop being available after the licence is deactivated on the site.
Any saved Pro data remains in the database unless removed by another action. For example, Help Notes stop showing while Pro is inactive but remain saved for when Pro is reactivated.
Reactivating Later
Return to GoshLinks > Settings > Licence and click Reactivate Licence.
