If a site moves from Pro to Free, GoshLinks keeps the core plugin working but hides Pro-only functionality.
Core Links Continue To Exist
Your links remain in the database unless you delete them or uninstall with data cleanup enabled.
Pro Features Are Hidden
Features such as Advanced Links, Bulk Editing, Import/Export, Advanced Stats, Data Management, YOURLS Import, and Help Notes are not available while the licence is Free or inactive.
Help Notes
Saved Help Notes stop showing when Pro is not active, but they are not deleted. If Pro is reactivated later, the saved notes can show again.
Advanced Link Data
Advanced link fields can remain stored in the database, but editing and using advanced functionality requires Pro.
Short Link Redirects
If the licence is not active and authorised, GoshLinks does not enable Pro features for this site. Check the Licence tab if links or Pro workflows are not behaving as expected.
Reactivating Pro
Go to GoshLinks > Settings > Licence and reactivate the saved key or enter a new Pro licence key.
Tip
Run a GoshLinks export before changing licences if you want a backup of links, click data, settings, and Help Notes.
