GoshLinks lets you view and download the QR code for an individual short link from either the All Links page or the Edit Link page.
Each QR code points to the GoshLinks short URL, not the target URL. This means the QR code can keep working even if you later change where the short link redirects.
View a QR Code from the All Links Page
- In WordPress admin, go to GoshLinks > All Links.
- Find the link you want.
- In the Actions column, click the QR code icon.
- The QR code opens in a popover.
From the popover, you can view the QR code and download the available file formats.
Free users can download PNG QR codes. Pro users can also download SVG QR codes when available.
If the QR code icon is purple, that link has custom QR code settings.
Generate a Missing QR Code from the All Links Page
If the link does not have a QR code yet, the popover will say that the link has no QR code.
Click Generate QR code to create one.
Once generated, the popover updates so you can view and download the QR code.
Download a QR Code from the All Links Page
Open the QR code popover and use the download links.
Downloads use the link slug in the filename.
Example:

View a QR Code from the Edit Link Page
- In WordPress admin, go to GoshLinks > All Links.
- Click the Edit icon for the link.
- Scroll to the QR Code panel.
- Click the QR code preview to open a larger view.
The larger popover lets you preview the QR code and download the available formats.
Download a QR Code from the Edit Link Page
In the QR Code panel, use the download buttons or open the larger preview and use the download links there.
Available formats depend on your licence:
- PNG - Available for generated QR codes.
- SVG - Available with Pro.
Regenerate a QR Code
On the Edit Link page, use Regenerate QR if the QR code is missing, out of date, or needs to be rebuilt after a QR design change.
Regenerating the QR code uses the current short URL and current QR settings. If the link has custom QR settings, those saved settings are used.
Tip
Always test a downloaded QR code before printing or sharing it widely, especially if it uses custom colours or a logo.
