The All Links page includes three display modes: Table View, Category View, and Stacked View. Use the view buttons near the top of the page to switch between them.
Table View
Table View shows links in a traditional WordPress admin table. This is useful when you want to compare many links quickly across columns.
Use Table View when:
- You want a dense list of links.
- You are sorting or scanning by column.
- You want the familiar WordPress table layout.
Category View
Category View groups links into category blocks. Links with no category appear under Uncategorised.
Use Category View when:
- You want to work by campaign, client, product, content type, or another category group.
- You want to see which links belong together.
- You want to organise links inside category groups.
In compact Category View, links can be dragged between categories and reordered inside a category when manual sorting is active.
Stacked View
Stacked View shows each link as a card-like stacked layout. This can be easier when links have long URLs or many fields.
Use Stacked View when:
- Long Target URLs make the table difficult to read.
- You prefer each link to be shown as its own block.
- You want to choose exactly which fields appear in the stacked layout.
Expanded and Compact Layouts
Category View and Stacked View can be shown in expanded or compact layouts.
- Expanded shows more detail for each link.
- Compact uses a tighter layout so more links fit on screen.
Stacked View Fields
When Stacked View is active, a Stacked View Fields panel appears. Use it to choose which fields are shown on each stacked card.
The following fields are always shown:
- Slug
- Status
- Actions
Sorting in Each View
Sorting works differently depending on the view you are using.
- Table View and Stacked View can sort links by fields such as slug, title, date added, views, status, QR code, and other available fields.
- Category View can sort the category blocks and the links inside each category separately.
- Manual category order is available when categories are sorted manually.
- Manual link order is available when category links are sorted manually.
Screen Options
Screen Options control how many items are shown per page. In Table View, Screen Options can also control which columns are visible. In Category View, the per-page setting controls categories per page.
Tip
Your display preference is saved, so you can choose the view that feels best for your workflow and continue working that way.
