Using Notes on Links

Add internal notes to links so your team can keep context, reminders, and campaign details in one place.

Using Notes on Links

Link Notes are private admin notes saved on individual GoshLinks links.

They are useful when you want to record context that should not be visible to visitors.

Where Notes Appear

Notes appear below the link title on the All Links page. They are only shown in the WordPress admin area.

Good Uses for Notes

  • Campaign names.
  • Offer details.
  • Internal reminders.
  • Why a link points to a specific destination.
  • Who requested the link.
  • When a link should be reviewed.

Adding a Note

  1. Open GoshLinks > All Links.
  2. Create a new link or edit an existing one.
  3. Enter your note in the Notes field.
  4. Save the link.

Editing a Note

To edit a note, open the link editor, update the Notes field, and click Update Link.

Notes vs Help Notes

Link Notes are saved on individual links. They describe or explain that specific link.

Help Notes are a Pro feature that adds team notes below the built-in help instructions. They are not tied to one link.
