Expiry Dates are a GoshLinks Pro feature. They let a link stop working as normal after a chosen date.
How Expiry Dates Work
A link reaches its end state after the selected End Date & Time. If you choose a date but leave the time empty, GoshLinks uses 23:59 for the end time.
Expiry actions are applied when someone visits the short link after the end time. GoshLinks does not remove or deactivate the link in the background before it is visited.
Expiry Actions
Leave Activated
The link stays active after the end time.
If an After End URL is set, visitors are sent there after the end time. If no After End URL is set, visitors continue to be sent to the normal Target URL.
Deactivate Link
The link remains in your list but is switched off the first time the short URL is visited after the end time.
Visitors are sent to:
- The link's Deactivated URL, if one is set.
- Otherwise, the global Default Deactivated Redirect Page.
- Otherwise, the site home page.
Delete Link
The link is permanently removed the first time the short URL is visited after the end time.
If someone visits the deleted short link later, they are sent to the Default Non Existent / Deleted Link Redirect Page, or the site home page if that setting is empty.

Tips
- Use Leave Activated with an After End URL when you want a campaign link to keep working but send visitors to a different destination after the end time.
- Use Deactivate Link if you may want to reuse or review the link later.
- Use Delete Link only when you are sure the link should be removed.
- Set a Deactivated URL for offer-expired pages or normal-price pages.
