Uninstalling GoshLinks

Deactivate and uninstall GoshLinks, and understand when plugin data may remain or be removed.

Uninstalling GoshLinks

You can uninstall GoshLinks from the WordPress Plugins page.

Before You Uninstall

If you may need your links later, export your data first from GoshLinks > Settings > Export.

Uninstall Settings

GoshLinks includes uninstall cleanup settings under GoshLinks > Settings > Setup.

  • Delete all links and click log data when plugin is deleted
  • Delete all GoshLinks settings when plugin is deleted

These settings control what data is removed when the plugin is deleted.

How To Uninstall

  1. Go to Plugins in WordPress admin.
  2. Deactivate GoshLinks Pro, if installed.
  3. Deactivate GoshLinks.
  4. Click Delete for the plugins you want to remove.

Short Links After Uninstall

After GoshLinks is deactivated or deleted, WordPress will no longer route GoshLinks short URLs. Previously shared short links will stop working unless another system handles those URLs.

Tip

Do not enable delete-on-uninstall options unless you are sure you want the data removed from the site.
