Moving a Licence to Another Website

You can move a GoshLinks licence from one website to another by deactivating it on the old site and activating it on the new site.

Step 1: Export Data If Needed

If you are moving links as well as the licence, export your GoshLinks data from the old site first.

Go to GoshLinks > Settings > Export and download a backup.

Step 2: Deactivate on the Old Site

1. On the old site, go to GoshLinks > Settings > Licence.
2. Click Deactivate Licence.
3. Confirm the action.

This frees the site authorisation for the licence.

Step 3: Install GoshLinks on the New Site

Install and activate the GoshLinks core plugin and GoshLinks Pro on the new site.

Step 4: Activate on the New Site

1. Go to GoshLinks > Settings > Licence on the new site.
2. Enter the licence key.
3. Click Activate Licence.

Step 5: Import Data If Needed

If you exported data from the old site, use Settings > Import on the new site to import the JSON file.

If You Cannot Access the Old Site

Manage the licence from your GoshLinks account or contact support so the old site can be removed from the licence.
