Installing the GoshLinks YOURLS Exporter Plugin

The GoshLinks YOURLS exporter plugin is used when your YOURLS installation is on another site.

Step 1: Download the Plugin

1. Go to GoshLinks > Settings > Import.
2. Open YOURLS Import.
3. Choose that YOURLS is installed on another site.
4. Click the button to download the YOURLS exporter plugin zip file.

Step 2: Open the YOURLS Site Files

Use CLI, FTP, or your hosting control panel file manager to access the site where YOURLS is installed.

Step 3: Upload to user/plugins

Browse to the YOURLS user/plugins folder.

Upload the exporter zip file and extract it there.

Step 4: Activate in YOURLS

1. Log in to the YOURLS admin area.
2. Click Manage Plugins.
3. Activate GoshLinks Exporter.

Step 5: Open the Exporter

Under the Manage Plugins area, click GoshLinks Exporter.

Troubleshooting

• If the plugin does not appear, check that it was extracted inside the correct YOURLS user/plugins folder.
• If YOURLS shows an activation page error but the plugin activates after refresh, check whether other YOURLS plugins behave the same way. The issue may be in the YOURLS install rather than the exporter.
