Exporting YOURLS Links to GoshLinks

After installing and activating the GoshLinks YOURLS exporter plugin, you can export YOURLS links in a format GoshLinks can import.

Step 1: Open the Exporter

Log in to the YOURLS admin area and open GoshLinks Exporter.

Step 2: Choose Whether To Include Click Data

The exporter includes links by default. Use the checkbox to choose whether to include click data with the links.

• Include click data if you want historical stats.
• Leave click data unchecked if you only need the links or want a smaller file.

Step 3: Download the JSON File

Click Download. A .json file downloads.

Filename Letters

• l means the file contains links.
• lc means the file contains links and click data.

Step 4: Import into GoshLinks

Return to WordPress and go to GoshLinks > Settings > Import.

Use the GoshLinks Import accordion to upload and import the YOURLS JSON file.

If JSON Opens in the Browser

If your browser displays JSON instead of downloading it, save the content as a .json file and import that file into GoshLinks.
