Downloading Multiple QR Codes

GoshLinks Pro lets you download QR codes in batches from the Bulk Editing page.

GoshLinks Pro lets you download QR codes in batches from the Bulk Editing page.

This is useful when you need QR codes for printed materials, campaigns, product labels, event signage, or client handover files.

Open Bulk Editing

In WordPress admin, go to GoshLinks > Bulk Editing.

Choose Which Links to Include

Use the Bulk Editing page to decide which links should be included in the QR code download.

You can use:

  • Selected links - Tick individual links in the table.
  • Filtered links - Apply filters first, then use the filtered result set.
  • All links - Include every link.

If you have many links, you can use Select across pages to build a selection from multiple pages.

Open the QR Codes Tool

Click the QR Codes button in the bulk action bar.

This opens the QR Code Actions popover.

Choose the QR Code Action

Select No Action if you only want to download QR codes and do not want to add, remove, or regenerate QR codes first.

If needed, you can also choose:

  • Add QR Codes - Creates QR codes for links that do not already have them.
  • Remove QR Codes - Removes generated QR code files.
  • Regenerate QR Codes - Rebuilds QR codes using the current short URLs and saved QR settings.

Remove and Regenerate require a second confirmation click.

Choose Which Links the ZIP Should Use

Choose the group of links to include:

  • Selected links - Uses the links you selected manually.
  • Filtered links - Uses the current filtered list.
  • All links - Uses all links in GoshLinks.

Each option shows how many links are included.

Choose a File Format

Choose the QR code format to download:

  • PNG - Best for most uses and widely supported.
  • SVG - Useful for design and print workflows.
  • PNG + SVG - Includes both formats.

SVG downloads are a Pro feature.

Download the ZIP File

Click Download ZIP.

GoshLinks creates a ZIP file named like:

goshlinks-qr-codes-YYYY-MM-DD.zip

Inside the ZIP, each QR code is named using the link slug.

Example:

summer-sale-qr-code.png

If two filenames would be the same, GoshLinks adds the link ID to keep them unique.

Important Notes

QR codes point to the GoshLinks short URL, not the target URL. This means you can change the destination later without reprinting the QR code.

Generated QR image files are not stored in the WordPress Media Library.

Tip

Before printing a large batch, scan-test a few QR codes from the ZIP to confirm they open the correct short links.
