Configuring Default Redirect Pages

Set the default pages used when links are inactive, scheduled, expired, or unavailable.

Configuring Default Redirect Pages

Default Redirect Pages control where visitors go when a short link cannot redirect normally.

Where To Configure Them

Go to GoshLinks > Settings > Default Pages.

Default Deactivated Redirect Page

This page is used when a link is inactive and no Pro per-link Deactivated URL is set.

A link may be inactive because:

  • It was manually deactivated.
  • It has a future Pro Start Date.
  • It expired with Deactivate Link selected.

Default Non Existent / Deleted Link Redirect Page

This page is used when someone visits a short link slug that does not exist or has been deleted.

If a Field Is Empty

If either default page field is empty, GoshLinks falls back to the site home page.

Recommended Pages

  • An offer expired page.
  • A helpful "link no longer available" page.
  • A support or contact page.
  • A relevant category or landing page.

Pro Per-Link Override

In Pro, individual links can use their own Deactivated URL. That per-link URL is used before the global Default Deactivated Redirect Page.
