Default QR Code Branding controls the standard QR code design used when GoshLinks generates QR codes. QR branding is a Pro feature.
These settings are useful when you want new QR codes to match your brand without customising each link individually.
Open the Defaults Tab
In WordPress admin, go to GoshLinks > Settings > Defaults.
Find the Default QR Code Branding section.
Choose a QR Code Colour
Use the colour dots to choose the default QR code colour.
Click a colour dot once to select it. Click the selected dot again to edit that colour.
When the colour picker opens:
- Choose the new colour.
- Click Update.
- Click Save Settings at the bottom of the page.
The selected colour becomes the default colour for newly generated QR codes.
Add a Logo
Use the Logo switch to decide whether default QR codes should include a logo.
When the logo is enabled, choose or change the logo image.
A simple square logo works best. PNG images with a transparent background are recommended.
Set the Logo Size
Use Logo Size to control how large the logo appears in the centre of the QR code.
Keep the logo size conservative. A smaller logo is usually safer and easier for phones to scan.
Choose the Logo Background
Use Logo Background to choose the shape behind the logo.
The background helps keep the QR code scannable by separating the logo from the QR pattern.
You can choose:
- Circle
- Square
Save the Default Design
Click Save Settings to save the default QR code branding.
New QR codes will use the saved default design.
Existing QR codes are not automatically changed. If you want existing QR codes to use the new design, regenerate them from the individual link QR controls or from the Bulk Editing area.
Tip
Always scan-test branded QR codes before printing or sharing them widely. Use strong contrast, avoid very light colours, and keep logos simple.
