Cancelling a Subscription

Cancel a GoshLinks subscription and understand how cancellation affects licence access.

Cancelling a Subscription

Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals. It may also affect access to updates, support, or Pro features depending on the licence status and expiry date.

Before You Cancel

  • Export your GoshLinks data if you may need it later.
  • Check which websites are using the licence.
  • Decide whether any sites should be deactivated first.
  • Review what happens when the licence becomes inactive or Free.

How To Cancel

  1. Log in to your GoshLinks account.
  2. Open the subscription or billing area.
  3. Find the active subscription.
  4. Choose the cancellation option.
  5. Confirm the cancellation if prompted.

What Happens in WordPress?

When the licence is no longer active and authorised for the site, Pro features stop being available.

The core GoshLinks plugin can continue to manage basic short links.

Saved Pro Data

Some Pro data may remain saved even when Pro is inactive. For example, Help Notes are hidden when Pro is not active but are not deleted automatically.

Tip

After cancellation, use GoshLinks > Settings > Licence > Refresh Licence Status if the plugin has not synced the latest account status.
